Since
approximately 50% of the more than 52,000 shallow gas wells in Alberta
and Saskatchewan were drilled prior to 1990, many wells may not
have been completed as effectively as they could have been using
current techniques.
Individual review
of existing wells often leads to the discovery of one or more intervals
within a well that are not perforated or may not have been effectively
fracture stimulated. Before embarking on large-scale development
of a field it is important to determine how improving the well completion
will enable the capture of incremental production and reserves.
Clover Resources
reviews existing wells for completion effectiveness and performance
metrics, and recommends recompletion programs. We also provide production
forecasting and economic analysis to support this process. Clover
arranges and manages field services to execute thes recommended
programs.
