Kirby
Nicholson P.Eng
Kirby Nicholson
graduated from the University of Calgary Mechanical Engineering
program in 1991, and then spent seven years working for PanCanadian
Petroleum as a production and reservoir engineer. Kirby established
Clover Resources in 1997 and began consulting at that time in
production and reservoir engineering. He has applied for a patent
(2002) and co-authored the study “A Review & Recommended
Approach to Shallow Gas Production Optimization in the WCSB,”
in January 2003.
Kirby has
written private software that is used in-house for gas reservoir
radial-flow modeling, multi-phase flow in wellbores, well clean-out
frequency optimization, and economic evaluations. Currently, Clover
Resources is developing a data-management tool for shallow gas
clean-outs. Kirby is also a practiced machinist, rancher and enjoys

Dawn
Dott P.Eng
Dawn Dott
graduated from Mechanical Engineering at the University of Manitoba
in 1992. Dawn worked for PanCanadian Petroleum as a Reservoir
Engineer and Natural Gas Marketing Representative until 1995,
during which time she also completed a Masters degree at the University
of Calgary in Transportation Engineering, focused on gas pipeline
transport solutions.
Since that
time Dawn has worked in both the oil and gas pipeline sectors
before returning to consulting at Clover Resources. Dawn co-authored
the study “A Review & Recommended Approach to Shallow
Gas Production Optimization in the WCSB,” in January 2003.
When she’s not working at Clover Resources, Dawn enjoys
skiing, hiking, and participates in local triathlons. [Contact...]
Michael
Geier
Michael graduated
in 1994 with a masters in Geology from University of Alberta.
Upon graduating Michael worked at Renaissance Energy Ltd. as an
exploration geologist working in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
He specializes in stratigraphy and sedimentology.
Since Renaissance,
Michael has been consulting as a well site geologist supervising
conventional drilling rigs in addition to large core aquisition
programs in the tar sands. Michael brings field experience and
geological expertise to Clover. Michael currently co-ordinates
the shallow gas cleanouts for Clover Resources. [Contact...]
Fay
Geier
Fay has enjoyed
a 15 year career working in the Oil and Gas industry as an Exploration
Software Support Analyst, geological, geophysical, reservoir and
production technologist for various Oil and Gas companies. Her
main focus has been computer mapping, reserves calculations and
data management. Her experience ranges from working in Alberta,
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Montana and Saudi Arabia.
Fay joined
Clover in 2003. She handles the day to day activity for clean
outs as well as overseeing the development of the data management
tool for shallow gas cleanouts. [Contact...]
